A man has been charged with three counts of attempted murder after a shooting in Wolverhampton last year.

Three women were taken to hospital with gunshot injuries after shots were fired in Frederick Street on 27 September and were later released.

Shaun Andrews, 23, from Russell Road in the city, is also charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

He is due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court on Monday.

A second man, 21-year-old Deshaun White of Westacre Crescent, has already appeared in court and denied the same charges.

Mr White is due to go on trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court on 31 March.
