Major road closed after crash involving lorry

Ecclesall Road between Greystone Road and Huntington Tower has been closed

A major road in Sheffield has been closed following a crash.

Emergency services including the Yorkshire Air Ambulance were called to Ecclesall Road earlier.

Police said the road between Greystone Road and Huntington Tower junctions had been shut in both directions.

Pictures from the scene show a cordon around a number of vehicles including a lorry and a pedal cycle. South Yorkshire Police have been contacted for further information.
