Man in court over £125,000 Shetland drugs haul

A man has appeared in court charged in connection with the seizure of drugs worth £125,000 by police in Shetland.

Marc Kerr, 31, from Glasgow, appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court. He is accused of two charges under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Heroin and cocaine were recovered by police at Lerwick ferry terminal on Friday.

Mr Kerr made to plea and was granted bail.
