Man admits stealing £300,000 worth of books

A man has admitted the theft of £300,000 worth of books.
Ipswich Crown Court heard Christopher Nunn, 42, had stolen the books, which belonged to firm LexisNexis, between March 2019 and September 2023.
The judge, Mr Recorder Howard Cohen, ordered a pre-sentence report to be organised and released Nunn, of Meadow Gardens, Beccles, Suffolk, on bail.
He will be sentenced on 5 June.
He denied two other charges of fraud and converting criminal property, which prosecutors decided to not take further.
The court heard briefly from Nunn's defence barrister, who said his client was expecting a custodial sentence.
Nunn is a director of a company that runs Wine Vaults Bar and Restaurant in Beccles.
