Appeal after driver, 86, dies in two-car crash

An 86-year-old man has died after two cars crashed in Barnsley, police said.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a blue Land Rover and a blue Vauxhall Corsa on Barugh Green Road in Redbrook, just after 15:30 BST on Thursday.
The driver of the Land Rover was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed, South Yorkshire Police said.
The force appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to get in touch.
