A 77-year-old woman has been charged after a man died in a dog attack.

June Miles, of Friary Road, Atherstone, is accused of perverting the course of justice in relation to the death of Anthony Harrington at a house on Packington Lane in Meriden, Solihull, in November 2023.

She is also accused of owning or being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control in relation to serious injury to Wendy Harrington at the same address.

Ms Miles is due to appear before Warwickshire Magistrates' Court on 25 April.

Warwickshire Police has been contacted to confirm the familial link between the Harringtons.
