More than 750 students from Kent are expected to attend a conference that aims to inspire and educate young people about a career in the digital industry.

Kent-based search agency Reflect Digital is hosting its sixth annual Aspiration Digital event, which is taking place at Showcase Cinema in Bluewater Shopping Centre on Thursday.

Topics including AI, social media marketing and how to bridge a digital gap in education will be discussed.

Becky Simms, founder and CEO at Reflect Digital, said: "We need to build more links between businesses and students, helping to bridge the gap between the curriculum and its real-world application."

She hopes to educate students about the different career paths in the digital industry and how to get a job in the sector.

The event will also include interactive workshops and a live panel with speakers from apprenticeship and training providers, universities and entrepreneurs.
