Two police cordons after fears over unknown powder

Two properties in Leicestershire were sealed off by police following reports of a possible hazardous substance.
Officers were first called to an address in Byron Street, Earl Shilton, over concerns about an unknown powder.
An occupant was also said to have visited a property in Field View Close, Huncote, with a small quantity of the substance.
Leicestershire Police said "for safety reasons" a cordon was put in place at both addresses while officers carried out initial inquiries.

The cordon remained at the address in Earl Shilton on Wednesday, but both have since been removed.
A Leicestershire Police spokesperson said: "An investigation into the report is currently in its early stages and officers are working to establish the full circumstances."
Officers say a 39-year-old man was arrested and has been released on police bail.
