Appeal as man left with life-threatening injuries
Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following an incident in a car park.
Sussex Police said emergency services were called to Ravenside Retail and Leisure Park, in Bexhill, at about 21:25 GMT on Friday and a 22-year-old man was treated by paramedics.
A black Seat Leon was reported to have been driving erratically in the car park in before the incident. The injured man was not in the car at the time, police said.
Det Sgt Rosie Newman said: "Enquiries are ongoing to understand the exact circumstances of this incident, which has left a young man fighting for his life."
The victim remained in hospital on Sunday evening and his family have been informed, police said.
Sussex Police asked anyone with information about the incident to contact the force.
