An underground bunker fire in Kent was attended by six fire engines, police and the ambulance service on Sunday.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to reports of the blaze at Fullingpits Wood, Maidstone, at about 14:00 GMT.

A spokesperson said two people were passed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance Service paramedics.

They said the cause was not yet known.

A fire engine is seen through low trees with other obscured vehicles also visible. The tree branches are quite bare with some green leaves starting to shoot and there are trees in the background as well.
