A number of roads remain closed after a large fire broke out at a derelict hotel near Blackpool Promenade.

At the height of the blaze on Monday evening, 40 firefighters were deployed to Wilton Parade, said Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS).

People living nearby were advised to close their windows and doors, while others were urged avoid the area.

LFRS said firefighters remained at the scene on Tuesday, "continuing to damp down" the building.
