Bomb squad called after artillery found

The discovery was made in Holbeach St Marks, police said

A bomb disposal team was called after an "old artillery bullet" was discovered, Lincolnshire Police said.

The force said the discovery was made in Holbeach St Marks.

A 100m (328ft) cordon was in place in the area around Lapwater Lane.

The shell was safely removed and residents were allowed back in their homes.
