A homelessness charity in Devon has been given a garden which featured at the Chelsea Flower Show.

Shekinah was selected to have the Pathway Garden once the show had finished on 24 May and a team has begun to install it in Plymouth.

The garden was inspired by the work of UK-wide homelessness charity Pathway and was selected for two awards at the 2025 flower show.

Shekinah CEO John Hamblin said he was "incredibly proud" the charity was chosen to have the garden.

Built by Modular Garden Limited, the company said it was sustainably designed with the help of people who had experience of homelessness.

The garden won the Silver Gilt medal and the Environmental Innovation Award at the show which took place between 20 and 24 May.

The garden will form part of a permanent community space at Shekinah in Plymouth thanks to a grant from Project Giving Back, which supports charitable causes through gardens at the flower show.

"We are incredibly proud to be part of this inspirational project," said Mr Hamblin.

"The Chelsea Flower Show offers a national platform to raise awareness of homelessness and health and inequalities and celebrate the journeys of those rebuilding their lives and health with dignity and purpose.

"This partnership truly reflects what Shekinah is all about."
