Pedestrian and car involved in Devon crash

Emergency services have been called out to a "serious" crash which has closed a road in north Devon.

Devon and Cornwall Police said it received reports of the incident involving a pedestrian and a car on the A361 in Dean Cross, near Ilfracombe, at 16:10 BST.

A Facebook post from Braunton Police described the crash as serious and said the A361 was closed between Braunton and Ilfracombe.

Police said emergency services including an air ambulance crew had attended the scene and there was no information on any injuries sustained.
