Cricket club to build new stand and changing rooms

Plans to replace a cricket club's stand and changing rooms have been given the go-ahead.
Barrow Cricket Club, in Cumbria, will replace the existing home terrace seating, which it said was in a "state of disrepair", and create new changing facilities for its women's team.
The plans are the first of three phases of a redevelopment which includes making the site more accessible for disability cricket.
Westmorland and Furness Council approved the plans on Tuesday and the club said it was now trying to secure funding for the next stages, reports the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
Phase two of the development includes improvements to the viewing terrace with access from the function room and changing rooms.
Phase three involves reconfiguring changing rooms to make them more accessible.
