City's £200m waterfront towers and hotel approved

Plans to build three 25-storey apartment blocks, a new marina and five-star hotel with helipad on a city's waterfront have been given the go ahead.
The £200m development, at Town Quay in Southampton, features 460 flats spread across one seven-storey and three 25-storey blocks.
The nine storey hotel with 128 bedrooms and 18 serviced apartments will be built first.
Developer, Nicolas James Group, said the work will take place in two phases over four years.
The application was approved on Tuesday at a meeting of Southampton City Council's planning and rights of way panel with five votes in favour and one abstention, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
The development also includes a new red-jet passenger terminal, restaurants, bars and shops.
The existing office building on Town Quay will be knocked down to create a walkway the 300-berth marina area.
