High winds force cancellations and closures
High winds are causing closures and cancellations in parts of the South East on the weekend before Christmas.
A yellow warning for wind is in force in other parts of UK, while drivers are being urged to "be patient" as millions take to the roads ahead of Christmas.
RHS Wisley in Surrey has announced part of its gardens will be closed on Saturday and Sunday due to the weather.
In Staines, a snow globe event, featuring a giant inflatable globe, has been cancelled for a second time, having been called off earlier in December during Storm Darragh.
Spelthorne Borough Council said due to the strong winds forecast, the event had been cancelled again.
"We are very sorry for any inconvenience," they added in a post on X.
There have been cancellations in other parts of the South East, with the Brighton Winter Fayre also called off for the second time this month.
RHS Wisley said Battleston Hill and the Pinetum were closed but the rest of its garden would remain open and the RHS Glow event would go ahead as planned.
