Tributes paid to a 'wonderful mum' killed in crash
Tributes have been paid to a "wonderful mum" who died following a two-vehicle collision involving a lorry.
Cambridgeshire Police said Kelly Badcock, 58, from Little Downham, died at the scene of the incident involving a Suzuki Vitara and a Volvo HGV on the A142 Witchford Bypass near Ely at about 16:25 GMT on 11 December.
In a statement released by the police, her family said their world had been "ripped apart".
They said she was "amazing" and "thought of everyone and everything before herself".
"On Wednesday evening our world was ripped apart by the sudden death of our wonderful mum," the tribute read.
"We are completely heartbroken as a family and life will never be the same again.
"For anyone who knew mum, you will know just how amazing she was.
"Mum was the best wife, the best nanny and the best friend to so many. She thought of everyone and everything before herself and we are all at such a loss."
The force has appealed for anyone with information about the collision to come forward.
It said the driver of the HGV was not injured and had assisted officers with their inquiries.
