Search for dog walker after man, 72, assaulted in Inverness

Police are searching for a dog walker after a 72-year-old man was assaulted in Inverness.
The incident happened in a wooded area of Merkinch Nature Reserve between 16:00 and 17:00 on Wednesday.
The man was treated at the city's Raigmore Hospital before being discharged.
Police said they wanted to trace a man, described as 35 to 40 years old, about 5ft 8in tall and of stocky build. He spoke with a local accent and was walking a medium-sized dog.
Det Con Gary Hines said: "We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or observed a man matching this description in the area at the time, to contact us."
