Identity of body pulled from canal still unknown

Police are trying to identify a man who was found dead in a Birmingham canal five months ago.
West Midlands Police discovered the body of a man in the city's canal between Rabone Lane and Bridge Street in Smethwick at about 15:00 GMT on 30 November.
The force said his body had no injuries and there was no evidence of third-party involvement.
He is described as Asian, about 50 to 60 years old, of medium build with black hair.
Police said he had a tattoo on his right hand which is similar to the Sikh symbol "Ik Onkar".
Enquiries with the local community and nearby Gurdwara have not revealed any answers.
The force is appealing to the public to help identify him.
His body will be held by the coroner, before being released for a funeral.
