A man who died after the car he was driving crashed in Barnsley has been named by police.

Artur Shurdhi, 52, died in hospital following the collision on Hunningley Lane at about 10:00 BST on 4 May, South Yorkshire Police said.

In a statement, his family said: "Artur was a loving father. He will be missed by his family and friends and never forgotten."

The black Audi A4 Mr Shurdhi was driving was the only vehicle involved in the crash and officers have asked anyone with information about what happened to get in touch.
