A 15-year-old girl has appeared in court accused of six terrorism offences.

One charge alleges she belonged or professed to belong to a banned organisation, while another charge alleges she invited support for such an organisation.

Four of the charges are under the Terrorism Act 2000 and two are under the Terrorism Act 2006.

The Dundee teenager, who cannot be named due to her age, made no plea during a hearing in private at Dundee Sheriff Court and was released on bail.

The case was continued for further examination and is expected to call again at a later date.
