Body found during search of Highland loch

Police say a body has been found during a search for a person in Loch Linnhe in Lochaber.

Coastguard teams, an RNLI lifeboat and Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team volunteers were involved in the search after concerns were raised on Wednesday night.

Police Scotland said the body was discovered on Thursday.

A spokesperson said: "The death is being treated as unexplained, however, there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances. Inquiries are ongoing."
