Tribute after crash death of motorcyclist, 21

A family have paid tribute to a "loved son, brother and grandson" who died when the motorcycle he was riding was in a collision.

George Joseph Powell, 21, from the Guilsfield area of Powys, died at the scene on the A490 between Guilsfield and Welshpool on Sunday.

He was riding a yellow Honda MSX.

In a statement issued via police, his family described George as "the best parts of all of us," and his "sweet and caring nature shone through in everything he did".

They said George "loved animals, all big and small, was "gentle and kind-hearted", and always saw the best in people,

Dyfed-Powys Police said its investigation was continuing and appealed to witnesses who may have seen the bike travelling before the collision to come forward.
