Two women arrested in a murder investigation in Cornwall have been released on bail, police have said.

A man in his 60s from the South Somerset area was found dead in a car in Helston Business Park on Wednesday, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

In an update on Saturday, the force said two women aged in their 50s and 80s from South Somerset arrested on suspicion of murder, concealing a death and preventing a lawful burial had been bailed while officers continue their investigations.

Anyone with information about the incident has been asked to contact police.

Det Insp Neil Blanchard, from the major crime investigation team, said: "Two women were arrested in connection to the death and have since been released on police bail while the investigation continues.

"We do believe that all involved parties were known to each other and at this time we are not seeking anyone else in connection to the death."
