Man suffers life-threatening injuries in crash
A 23-year-old man has suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash which closed a busy Devon road for nearly nine hours.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to an incident on the A380 near Kingsteignton at 09:10 BST on Tuesday.
Police said a Scania Tipper lorry, a Fiat 500 car and Toyota Dyna truck were involved, with the passenger of the Toyota suffering the most serious injuries.
An appeal for witnesses for the crash, which kept the road closed until 17:40, has been issued by police.
The force said the driver of the Dyna, a 35-year-old man, sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment, along with his seriously injured passenger.
Police added the drivers of the other two vehicles involved were uninjured.
Officers thanked the public for their patience while the road was closed for an investigation and for an air ambulance to land.
Police have asked anyone with information about the incident to get in touch.
