A cannabis farm set up inside a "secluded" Nottinghamshire home has been dismantled following a raid.

National Grid alerted Nottinghamshire Police to a property in Tollerton they believed had "a substantial illegal connection".

Officers visited the residential property on Friday and found more than 70 cannabis plants growing alongside evidence of previous crops in the garage and attic.

Plants and other items used to grow cannabis have been seized, said police.

Sharing the incident, Rushcliffe South officers said no arrests had been made.

They added anyone with concerns about a property or "suspicious smells" should make contact.
