Woman suffers life-changing injuries in crash

A woman has suffered serious injuries during a crash in Plymouth, police have said.

The crash involving a blue Renault Laguna happened at about 13:20 BST on Saturday on Kings Road, Devonport, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

Officers said the woman, who was a passenger in the car, suffered potentially life-changing injuries.

The male driver fled the scene before police arrived, the force said.
