Attempted murder arrests over suspected shooting

A man and boy have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an apparent shooting.
Police were called after a shot was heard on Field Lane in Great Wyrley, Staffordshire, at about 20:45 BST on Monday.
A man in his 20s suffered a suspected bullet wound to his back and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Staffordshire Police said a 26-year-old man and 16-year-old boy, both from Wolverhampton, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and were being questioned in custody.
