Girl 'under investigation' over threats to schools

A teenage girl from West Yorkshire is "under investigation" after malicious email threats were sent to schools, police said.
Messages containing threats of violence were sent to schools in the Skipton area, North Yorkshire Police said.
The force said the girl would be interviewed under caution and was also under investigation for similar messages sent to schools in West Yorkshire.
Police reassured parents and pupils at affected schools "that we do not believe there to be any credibility to the threats that have been made".
In an earlier statement, North Yorkshire Police said it "always conducts a full threat, harm and risk assessment, which includes checking all relevant intelligence and information held on police systems into all incidents of this nature".
