Man arrested for dangerous driving after crash

A man has been arrested for multiple offences including dangerous driving after he allegedly sped off from police and crashed into another vehicle.
Police said the man, who is in his 30s, was in Stephens House car park in Windsor, Berkshire in a blue Mercedes at about 21:00 GMT on Sunday.
They followed him through the town and onto Windsor Road but only caught up with him after he crashed in to a grey Volkswagen travelling the opposite way in Egham, Surrey.
Three people from the two vehicles were taken to hospital. A woman is undergoing treatment for serious injuries, while another man has been discharged.
The arrested man was arrested for dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs and driving without insurance.
He was also arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by driving whilst disqualified and he remains in hospital undergoing treatment.
Thames Valley Police and Surrey Police said they want anyone who saw anything in or around Windsor Road between 21:10 and 21:15 on Sunday to contact them.
