Hospital atrium reopens following police incident
Part of a hospital has reopened after a man and a woman were injured at the site.
Police were called to the East Atrium at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital at 13:30 GMT on Thursday.
The hospital said the area was closed for safety checks and to ensure structures were safe.
Prof Lesley Dwyer, the hospital trust's chief executive, said an investigation was ongoing.
"The health and safety of everyone in our hospital is an absolute priority and we will take prompt action if further safety measures are identified and required as a result of this incident and ongoing investigations," she added.
Details of the incident have not been released. The injuries suffered by the man and the woman were not believed to be life-threatening.
Police remained at the scene for almost five hours.
