A total of 898 ballots were cast in the 2024 Alderney election

Two sitting States of Alderney members have lost their seats in Alderney's 2024 election.

Boyd Kelly and Lin Maurice were unsuccessful in the election.

Two other sitting members - Kevin Gentle and Alex Snowdon - were returned along with Stuart Clark, Edward Hill and Iain Macfarlane.

Poll topper Edward Hill said: "I'm extremely humbled and deeply flattered that so many people voted for me. I had a very interesting manifesto and was probably slightly different to the normal type of manifesto which was focusing on solutions rather than the problems."

In total 901 papers were issued. Three postal votes were not returned and 10 ballots were deemed spoilt.

Of those registered on the electoral roll there was a 63% turnout.
