Dog dies in 'dangerously out of control' incident

Police say a dog was killed and another injured in an incident reportedly involving dangerously out of control dogs in Lochaber.

A man has been arrested and charged and a report would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Police Scotland said the incident happened on Wednesday 4 September near Spean Bridge.

A spokesperson said: "Inquiries are ongoing and officers are working with our partners in Highland Council."
