An 81-year-old woman who died after she was hit by a car in West Yorkshire has been named.

Sheena McKerrell, from Hebden Bridge, Calderdale, was killed in the collision on Sunday in Haworth, West Yorkshire Police confirmed.

The crash took place on Bridgehouse Lane at the junction with Ivy Bank Lane at about 17:35 BST, with officers appealing for witnesses or those with dashcam footage to get in contact.

A 23-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been released on bail by the force.
