Firefighters are tackling a blaze on Grimsby Road, Cleethorpes

Firefighters are tackling a blaze at a property in Cleethorpes.

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said it was called at 10:25 BST on Monday to reports of a house fire on Grimsby Road.

When they arrived, firefighters found the roof on fire. There were no reports of any injuries.

Nearby residents should keep their windows and doors closed, said a service spokesperson.

At its height, five fire engines and an aerial platform were involved in efforts to put out the blaze.
