Armed police arrest four over shots fired in brawl

Four men have been arrested after a man was injured during a fight in which gunshots were fired.
Armed officers were called to Swinston Hill Road in Dinnington, Rotherham, at about 19:15 BST on Wednesday amid reports of "a group of men fighting with weapons", South Yorkshire Police said.
Two men, aged 67 and 20, were arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. One of the arrested men was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the force added.
Two 21-year-old men were also arrested on suspicion of affray. All four remained in police custody on Thursday.
Det Insp Claire Moss said investigations were still being carried out and the area would be subject to extra police patrols due to a gun being involved.
She said: "Using a firearm as a weapon will not be tolerated within South Yorkshire, and a team of detectives are working at pace to ensure that those responsible for posing this risk our communities are held responsible.
"From CCTV enquiries we know that there were people driving through the area, and we are urging those with dashcam or footage of the disorder to get in touch.
"Even if you believe your information to be small and insignificant, it could be vital to our investigation and securing evidence."
