Five teenagers arrested over girl's stabbing
Five teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the stabbing of a 13-year-old girl.
The injured girl was found by the side of the A63 in Hessle in November with lacerations to her neck, abdomen, chest and back and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, Humberside Police said.
Det Supt Simon Vickers said three teenage boys, aged 15, 16 and 17, and two girls, aged 14 and 15, were being questioned by officers.
"The 15-year-old girl has also been arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article alongside the 17-year-old boy who has been arrested on suspicion of possession of class B drugs," he added.
"All five teenagers remain in our custody being questioned by detectives at this time."
Mr Vickers renewed an appeal for information and any dashcam or CCTV footage.
A 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named because of his age, has appeared in court charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article.
He was remanded into custody and will appear at Hull Crown Court on 3 March.
