Man charged after shots fired on street

A man has been charged after shots were fired on a street in South Yorkshire.
Police were called to Dawson Avenue in Rawmarsh, Rotherham, on Monday evening and found evidence of a firearms discharge, but said nobody had been injured.
Craig Berridge, 44, of Grange Road, Rotherham, has been charged with possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life or enable another to do so, threats to kill and possessing a knife in a public place.
He was remanded into custody and is due to appear appear before Sheffield Magistrates' Court later.
A 43-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm has been released on bail pending further investigation.
