Boy, 15, dies after being hit by car

A 15-year-old boy has died from his injuries after being hit by a car.

The crash, involving a silver Ford Fiesta and the boy - who was a pedestrian, happened on New Street near to ATS Tyres in Andover, at 18:00 GMT on Saturday.

A 29-year-old woman from Andover has been arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drugs and released from custody pending further investigation.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary is appealing for anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage to contact the force.

The teenager's family is being supported by specialist officers.
