Woman jailed for sex offences against boys
A woman who committed sex offences against two boys from Leeds has been jailed for six years.
Kaye Little, also known as Kia Little, contacted her victims over the internet, Leeds Crown Court heard.
The 46-year-old had been found guilty of 11 offences at an earlier trial.
Det Con Khi Smith, who led the investigation, said Little's crimes were "abhorrent".
Little, of High Street in Boosbeck, Cleveland, was sentenced to six years for the 11 offences, which included sexual activity with a child, sexual assault, malicious communications and making and distributing indecent images of children.
She was also given a three-year extended licence period due to the danger the court felt she posed.
Little was cleared of one sexual assault and two counts of sexual activity with a child.
She received a further nine-month sentence for an offence committed against a man in Cleveland, of putting a person in fear of violence by harassment.
'Will not be tolerated'
West Yorkshire Police said Little came to the attention of officers from the Leeds Children Vulnerable to Exploitation Team in 2019 as they investigated reports of malicious communications.
Police inquiries led to her being suspected of sexual offences against the two boys.
Her offending took place between 2015 and 2019.
Det Con Smith said: "I am pleased with the sentence handed to Little today for the abhorrent offences she committed.
“I want to thank the victims not only for their bravery in coming forward to report the offences, but also for their strength throughout the lengthy criminal justice process.
“They were put through the daunting experience of a criminal trial and have shown so much courage and dignity throughout.
"I hope they can begin to move on with their lives, knowing a level of justice has been served.
“Little preyed upon and exploited the vulnerability of these children and I hope this serves as a stark reminder that offending of this nature will not be tolerated."
