Ring containing baby girl's ashes found on road
A man who found a ring that is thought to contain a baby girl's ashes is appealing for its owner to get in touch.
Max Cockrell, 24, spotted the ring on a street in Gorleston, Norfolk, on Saturday afternoon.
It is engraved with the message "My Baby Girl Roo" and says "ashes" on the bottom.
Mr Cockrell, who works for East Suffolk Council, said he was determined to find the owner.
"I am sure they must really want it back. It must mean a lot to them," he said.
Mr Cockrell was with friends when they spotted the ring on Trafalgar Road, near the roundabout.
"We didn't realise until we picked it up and read the writing that it was a ring containing ashes," he said.
"I really hope we can find the owner and get it back to them."
