VE Day 80th celebrations in South Yorkshire

Victory in Europe Day, known as VE Day, is celebrated on 8 May to mark the day the Allies formally accepted Germany's surrender in 1945.
People across South Yorkshire are being encouraged to join in celebrations, from bell-ringing to music and food to mark the end of World War Two.
Here are some of the events planned:
Doncaster Food and Drink Festival
Doncaster's annual food festival festival will be holding a Big Lunch street party in the city centre's Market Square on 5 May.
There will be food available from the market's vendors, and the option to bring your own picnic. There will also be entertainment and activities.
Bell-ringing

There will be a bell-ringing tribute at Sheffield Cathedral at 18:30 BST on 8 May.
Evening talks
In Sheffield, there will be a series of WW2-themed talks throughout May and June.
On 6 May, Chapeltown Library will be hosting a talk on WW2 in Ecclesfield Parish with local historian Josh Daniels.
On 14 May there will be a talk on Redmires Prisoner of War camp, which was set up during World War One for the Sheffield City Battalion and became the largest prisoner-of-war camp in Britain in WW2. This will be hosted by Central Library, and led by archaeologist and academic Tim Cockrell.
And in June, author Luke Turner will be discussing his book Men of War, which celebrates the the complexity of the lives and identities of those who fought and lived through WW2.
Afternoon tea
Winthrop Gardens in Wickersley, Rotherham, is hosting an afternoon Tea on 6 May at 13:15 BST, for £20 per ticket. There will be food, live music and a quiz - and guests are encouraged to wear 1940s dress.
The archives
There will be a commemoration event hosted by Rotherham Museums, Arts and Heritage at 10:00 BST on 8 May. The event will explore how Rotherham has celebrated VE Day through the years.
The Archives' search room will be displaying original archival materials, with some available for handling.
Entertainment
Sheffield's Moor Market will be hosting an afternoon cabaret on 1 May at 14:00 BST.
There will be entertainment including bingo, cake and live performances of wartime classics and nostalgic music.
Hoyland's community garden, Owd Martha's Yard Hoyland, in Barnsley, will be hosting a concert at Belmont Club. There will be entertainment from the local community theatre, and the beacon lighting and a tribute at 21:30 BST on 8 May.
And on the same date in Whiston, the Parish Hall will be hosting a buffet, singer and entertainment from midday.
Celebrations in Rotherham
There will be celebrations and entertainment at Rawmarsh High Street Centre on 2 May from 11:00 BST. The £12 tickets will include military vehicles, a 40s-style singer, games, a 1940s quiz and a buffet.
There are also evening events happening across Rotherham.
On 8 May in Harthill-with-Woodall, the evening's celebrations will begin at 18:30 BST with the ringing of the church bells, followed by a celebration in All Hallows Church, and then music and singing around the village. At 21:30 BST there will be the lighting of the lamp of peace and a VE Day tribute.
There will also be celebrations in Maltby on 8 May, with entertainment including a brass band, and the lighting of the beacon at 21:00 BST.
And on 9 May, Harley Village Mission Rooms in Harley will be hosting an event from 19:00 BST with a brass band, war songs and a British Legion service.
