Motorcyclist suffers life-changing injuries in crash

A motorcyclist is in hospital with injuries which are believed to be life-changing following a serious collision.

Avon and Somerset Police was called to Winterstoke Road in Weston-super-Mare at about 15:15 BST on Tuesday after a collision involving a motorcycle and a car.

The road was initially closed while emergency services attended and debris was cleared, but has since reopened.

Anybody who witnessed the collision or has information which could help the investigation is asked to contact police.
