Pirates weekend best and busiest - organisers
Plymouth Pirates Weekend attracted a record 41,000 visitors, organisers have said.
The 13th weekend was the "best and busiest" yet, Plymouth Waterfront Partnership (PWP) said.
The weekend of swash buckling activities featured music stretching from the Barbican to the Royal William Yard and a pirate fun run for the first time.
PWP chief Jon Walton said a "huge thank you" to everyone behind the weekend.
"The collaborative effort is simply outstanding and shows what a great city Plymouth is," he said.
"Massive thanks to our wonderful waterfront businesses, without whom this event would not take place. We hope all visitors had a great time."
The event raised £1,900 for the Plymouth-based children's charity Jeremiah’s Journey.
