Man charged over cannabis plants seizure

A man has been charged following the seizure of more than 100 cannabis plants in County Londonderry.

Police said officers discovered approximately 120 plants at an address in Ardkill Road in Ardmore at about noon on Wednesday.

A 29-year-old man has been charged with cultivating cannabis, being concerned in supply of a Class B drug and being concerned in production of a Class B drug.

He is further charged with possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply and dishonestly using electricity.

He is due to appear before Londonderry Magistrates' Court on Friday.
