One person was taken to hospital after a crash involving three cars and a lorry.

Police were called to the Stanground bypass, Peterborough at about 08:00 BST.

The East of England Ambulance Service said two ambulances and a support vehicle were sent to the scene on the A605.

An ambulance spokesperson said one patient was taken to Peterborough City Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

Earlier, bus operator Stagecoach East said, on its X account, that due to congestion and road closures as a result of the incident, services would not serve the Amazon and Cardea stops.

Cambridgeshire Police said the road had since reopened.
