Woman seriously injured after car hits tree
A woman suffered serious injuries when her car struck a tree on a rural road in Gloucestershire.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the single-vehicle incident, which happened at around 13:35 BST on Monday 13 May on the B4066 in Nympsfield near Stonehouse.
Officers went to the scene after reports a blue Mini Cooper had left the road and crashed into a tree near the Bristol and Gloucestershire Gliding Club.
The driver, a woman in her 40s, was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
Gloucestershire Constabulary have asked anyone who witnessed the crash, or who may have dashcam footage, to get in touch.
