Irish student dies while climbing in Spain
The Irish woman who died while climbing in Malaga province during the weekend was a student from Dublin.
Eve McCarthy was climbing near El Chorro, in the municipality of Álora, when she fell on Friday evening.
The pub where she worked in Dalkey, southeast of Dublin city, posted a tribute to her, describing her as bringing "joy and laughter with her fun loving way of life".
"Eve had great wit and was always so bubbly with a beautiful smile," the statement added.

Ms McCarthy was a past pupil at Loreto Abbey Secondary School in Dalkey.
In a statement, the school offered its sympathies to her family and friends.
A spokesperson for the Department of Foreign Affairs said it was aware of the case and was providing consular assistance.
The Spanish Civil Guard said it received notice about an "accident" on 10 January at 19:00 local time (18:00 GMT) in the climbing area known as El Chorro.
It added that a man who was also climbing at the time was unhurt.
