Recycling bins removed due to repeat arson attacks

People will no longer be able to recycle their newspapers or magazines at a retail park due to repeated arson attacks.
Tendring District Council said the two banks at Waterglade Retail Park in Old Road, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, would be removed this week.
Adrian Smith, the council's independent cabinet member for environment, said he was frustrated that the actions of a few had robbed residents from using the bins.
Smith said the council's contractor could "no longer absorb the cost of these acts of arson".
"It is incredibly disappointing that we have to take this action due to the reckless behaviour of a few individuals," he said.
